What about this topic appeals to you? Why did you choose it?
The fact that i can relate to the topic, and i see it as a problem in the lives of people i know or meet, it appeals to me. I chose it because it is a serious problem that really concerns me.
What do you already know about this subject?
I am already aware about situations I know of by observation and experience, and by stories i have read or heard.
What are you hoping to learn about the subject?
I am hoping to learn more perhaps about the effects of discouragement on young adults scientifically as well as what a solution may be. As well as how it effects them as they get older and for the rest of their lives.
What are you most interested in regarding the topic?
I am most interested in seeing how this problem can be changed, regarding the topic.
What potential risks or challenges do you foresee for your project?
Potential risks could be finding research beyond the scientific side. A challenge I foresee for my project is figuring out what a realistic and effective solution to the problem could be.
This is a very broad topic. Aspirations can mean so many different things. Marriage? Family? Job? Career? You might want to look at honing in on one of them. You should be able to find research, and you can talk to the college office about how they support students' aspirations for college.
